A boating paradise, the community’s shoreline sits on a 367.5 acre waterway that feeds into Broad Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway. A specially designed lock system maintains a minimum depth of nine feet even during the low country’s rising and falling tides. Boats up to 75 feet in length and 19 feet across the beam can be moored in the private slips. A full-time harbormaster oversees all maritime operations.
