Hilton Head Plantation occupies almost 4,000 acres on the northern corner of the Island with frontage on Port Royal Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway. This community offers to its residents all the amenities of a resort. Within the confines of Hilton Head Plantation, you'll find Bear Creek Golf Club, Oyster Reef Golf Club, Dolphin Head Golf Club, and The Country Club of Hilton Head. There are twelve tennis courts, jogging trails, nature conservancies, a community recreation center, two miles of beautiful beach on Port Royal Sound, and the most glorious sunset on earth at Skull Creek Marina located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway.  In addition, there are excellent dining and shopping facilities. There are Four Golf Courses (72 holes) which 2 are open to the public.

Hilton Head Plantation – Live in a Community Wrapped Around the Intracoastal Waterway

Situated at the northwestern tip of the island, Hilton Head Plantation’s shoreline wraps from Port Royal Sound to Skull Creek and onto the Intracoastal Waterway.  The plantation has a true community feel with lots of family and neighbor-oriented activities.  Contemporary full-sized and patio homes line the lagoons, fairways and shoreline.  An adult retirement community, the Cypress, is located within Hilton Head Plantation.

The Plantation house may be used for private parties as well as community events.  Residents also enjoy seven miles of nature trails, two nature conservancies and two miles of sandy beach.  A full service marina offers a variety of water sport activities.  There are six distinct recreation areas in the Plantation which encompass:

From its convenient location on the northern end of the island, it’s a short hop from Hilton Head Plantation to the outlet stores in nearby Bluffton.  A gourmet grocery store, the library, medical facilities, the Coastal Discovery Museum and the Pinckney Island Wildlife refuge are just a few minutes’ drive away.
